Why America cant Invade Iran

I personally don't like Iran as this is the place where most of the terrorism gets its root. I am also not in favour of Iran occupying the nuke power. In fact not only Iran but any country which is governed by the religious extremist group. Who will have no second thought to use it. I also hate Americans acting like international cops.

No matter what happens I strongly believe that America will not (and should not ) invade Iran. It should try to use it diplomatic power to bring the Iran on its knee. It can also use it CIA and other espinoage technique to liberalise the Iran. The process is lengthy but is the best. Here are some of the reason what make me feel why USA will not invade Iran.

- Iraq is still unstable.

- Iran is a country 4 times the size of Iraq, with a greater population

- American forces are overstretched, they can barely recruit enough.

- Iran's terrain is hilly and mountainous in many regions, making any fighting much harder.

- Iran has too much diplomatic power, including three world powers; Russia, India and China, who are not eager to see an invasion (and I am sure they will intervene and force Americans to engage Iran in dialogue)

- Iraq was a different story. Saddam's armed forces were destroyed in the first Gulf War, Iran's are still intact, making the initial invasion even more costly than the one trillion dollar figure of the Iraq war

- Iran might actually use long range missiles, etc, whereas Iraq was never going to.
Invading Iran would just destabilise the world and send oil prices through the roof.

- While we have to be fair and say that there are dumb people everywhere, it is safe to say the American public are at the top of the dumb list of developed countries. But even they would not (and should not) give support for invading Iran.
